| Letter from the Director ot the Before and After School Care
program: Parents: The brand new on-site before and after school program is off to a great start! We are looking for families who may still wish to register and be a part of our exciting day. Our before school hours go from 6:45 amuntil 8:15 am and our after school prgram runs from 3:30 pm until 5:45 pm. During both programs we offer a wide range of activities for all age groups to participate in. Our program offers two types of registrations for children. First is the "set schedule". This is where the child would have a set schedule, and would come to the program (either before or after, or both) on a regular basis. The second option is the "drop-in program". This is a schedule that is made simply by giving 24 hour notice to the program that you would like your child to attend the following day. Another perk to this program is that if you run into something unexpected it can be very handy to have arranged care for your children right at their school. To register for either program all that is needed is a phone call to the school office. A registration packet will then be sent for you to fill out. St. Bernard School is proud to announce its before and after school child care program to begin in the 2004-2005 school year. The program is designed to meet the needs of the parents of children enrolled at St. Bernard School in kindergarten through 8th grade.
The program will offer convenient hours, affordable rates and a safe, friendly environment for the children right at school. A simple breakfast (cereal and milk) is provided before school and a snack is provided for children staying in the after school care program. On early dismissal days, a lunch will be provided.
Several care options will be available including care on early dismissal days and drop-in care.
