Thank you for taking the time to explore our web site. What do you need to know about St. Bernard Parish? Here are the basics:
Weekend liturgies are held at 4 p.m. Saturdays, and 8:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. Sundays. Liturgies feature music ranging from contemporary to praise to gospel, accompanied by a variety of instruments like organ, flute, guitar, piano and percussion instruments. Our 6:30 p.m. Mass is an especially good fit for teens and preteens, but all ages can enjoy the upbeat praise and worship music--complete with drums and guitar.
Worshiping at our parish for the first time? There are some helpful resources listed in the right column of this page. You may want to browse our past bulletins to see what has been happening.
Parishioners of all ages enjoy opportunities for Faith Formation—from celebrating the sacraments, to meeting God in new ways through Youth Ministry, to growing in faith with other adults in our parish through small groups and speaker events.
We have over 50 active ministries—so there’s always somewhere to get involved.
Outreach is part of our way of life, including relationships with Ecumenical Partnership for Housing, the N. E. W. Community Shelter, and The Friends of Haiti.
Parishioners stay in-the-know about our community and our faith through a quarterly newsletter and weekly bulletin; both of which can be e-mailed directly to your inbox.
Our parish is 2200 families strong and we are happy to welcome you as a member of our parish family.
